Pandemonium: that is, there is life on Planet?

There is no doubt that the question for some time, is at the center of an extensive and heated debate. It speaks volumes Planeta De Agostini, more of opportunity "spotted" by not publishing a cure to it. The latest developments can be followed, among others, the forum Comicus , Harrydice and House of Mystery . How
"party" - Hellblazer having translated by Peter Milligan No.3 , though not credited in error (one of many in the volume), and Pandemonium (of which I came in not reading beyond the table where there are two identical captions!) - I think it is an objective that these and several other volumes are published by Planeta unpresentable and indefensible. Especially the HB Milligan, limiting myself to those I've worked on, the less Pandemonium (although as mentioned above, I stopped and I have not finished reading, mea culpa ...) but the HB Milligan was truly apocalyptic. Staying at that level would have been very firm on the Guinness.
from "Fumo di China" N. 189 (thanks to Micene12 for scanning)

The complaints of the readers who pay for those products (and I've paid for these books!) Are more than legitimate.
My humble opinion is that the final product is a comic book published and it is the responsibility of the publisher must monitor, or should, the whole process, whatever the chain of production.
I do not think there are big secrets to keep ...

I translated (the text of the comic) and delivered the two translations in June and July 2010 on behalf of Bao from few months the new translation service for Planeta De Agostini, and the volumes came out in December 2010 and January 2011. Delivery time of translation: 2 to 3 weeks or so. I pointed out that it was the authors and texts, but I was "comfortable" relying on the supervision of a person good, competent and enthusiastic as Michele Foschini, and agreements between us were so. He then worked in great harmony.

Supervision of the texts is always needed, always. Species in a process like the one related to comics, in which the final evaluation, however, to be done on the page of letters.
translation errors can occur but typos, words run together, are absolutely intolerable in random hyphenation Planeta amount of volumes.

From my information, in respect of HB Peter Milligan (drawings of the duo Camuncoli & Landini and Bisley ) Bao oversaw the layout, man of letters in Spain. But "magically" went to print the file pre-review littered with all the mistakes that we know well, which were amended during the review instead.

Originally I had been "lured" the enthusiasm and the proposed Michele Foschini, that person whom I respect and continue to appreciate, and why it was that I knew the authors and titles of person / people I was following with great interest. Among the other with Milligan had been in Terni and on that occasion had given me the script for the number of Bisley Hellblazer, "No future", which then, as chance would have translated: it seemed a good sign, right? For

Pandemonium (written by an inspired Jamie Delano and illustrated by an incisive Jock ), che è stato davvero complesso da tradurre (con la collaborazione di Daniele Tomasi ) per la difficoltà intrinseca del testo e per i tempi di consegna stretti, non ho avuto notizie. Dopo aver "letto" il volume ho inviato una mail a Gennaio 2011 a Bao :  " Da parte mia, in tutta franchezza, ritengo chiusa qualsiasi futura possibilità di collaborazione - se mai ci fosse stata l'intenzione da parte "spagnola"- con Planeta stante questi risultati. "

PS.3: Tornando al volume di Milligan , segnalo che i credits a pagina 32, 51 and 71 are cloned from those on page 9. But they are wrong, as there is no indication correct, as the original edition (and this in my translation), assistant editor Angela Rufino, taken the place of Brandon Montclare. Also in the original books, and Landini Camuncoli they are accredited, as in the picture, for "layouts" and "finishes", respectively. With the approval of the authors involved, it was proposed as a translation: "JOSEPH CA MUNCOLI layout Stefano Landini finish." Of course all this is gone, mysteriously lost in the book printed.
